The new EasyPin generation of 7- and 13-pin trailer sockets offers maximum installation convenience combined with exceptional stability and durability. The wiring harness contacts are individually fed through the body grommet opening to the EasyPin socket. This allows the required diameter of the opening to be kept to a minimum.

The sometimes excessive mechanical effort required to create the opening is minimised.
Drill holes can be made using standard drill bits without the need for specialised tools.
Potential sealing issues against water ingress are reduced.
The pre-assembled EasyPin contacts are inserted and locked in place according to the included table.
Complex individual screw connections for electrical contacts are completely eliminated.

And if something does go wrong, JAEGER automotive has already thought of a solution:

Every new wiring harness with the EasyPin socket includes a removal tool. This allows the technician to easily release a locked contact (PIN OUT) and insert it in the desired position (PIN IN).

This feature ensures that, particularly in case of repairs, a socket can be replaced quickly and with secure contact connections.

Matching repair kits for EasyPin sockets are readily available if needed.
